Interstellar Messages does not assume and hereby disclaims any liability to any person or entity for any loss or damages, including without limitation any physical, mental, special, indirect, incidental or consequential in regard to information provided through this website, or as a result of the use of this website by any party, regardless of whether resulting from negligence, accident, or any other cause whatsoever. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Interstellar Messages from any claims, actions, demands, losses, damages or fees made or incurred by any third party arising out of or relating to your conduct, your violation of these Terms of Use, or your violation of any rights of a third party. Furthermore, persons under age 18 are not permitted to use Interstellar Messages. Therefore, by using or registering an account on Interstellar Messages, you declare that you are 18 years of age or older.

You agree that Interstellar Messages cannot be held liable for any hacking attempt or any other unforeseen situation in which your data may be compromised. Your IP Address is recorded with each post you make on Interstellar Messages and is retrievable by the message board staff. You agree that Interstellar Messages has the ability and right to remove, edit, or lock any account or message at any time should it be seen fit. You also agree that any information you enter on this message board is stored in a database, and that 'cookies' are stored on your computer to save your login information.

Certain visitors choose to interact with Interstellar Messages in ways that require gathering personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information gathered depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, visitors who sign up for an account are asked to provide a username and email address. Account Deactivation

If you have registered on the Interstellar Messages board and no longer wish to be a member, you may request to have your account deactivated. To request account deactivation, please contact the Interstellar Messages Webmaster via mail@interstellarmessages.com from the email address registered to your account. You may also request account deactivation by logging into your account and sending a Private Message to an Administrator. You may reach an Administrator by Private Message or by using the Contact page.

Account deactivation results in your username and email address being removed from the account, therefore disassociating your identity from the account. The deactivated account will no longer be accessible, and Interstellar Messages deems deactivated accounts permanently closed. Deactivated accounts will not be reactivated under any circumstances. Posts and threads made by the account will still appear on the Interstellar Messages board after the account has been deactivated. By registering on the Interstellar Messages board, you agree to these terms.



Additional Registration Rules

1. You may not use your real name as a handle on the Interstellar Messages board. You may not use the real name of any other person knowingly, or for the purpose of impersonating that individual. Such behavior will not be tolerated on the Interstellar Messages board. Furthermore, using the same handle that you use on social media or other platforms is not advised. Remember that Interstellar Messages is a role playing community, and it is best to leave your other personas at the door.

2. Do not register if you think there is a chance you might want your account deactivated later. If you have any doubts, simply continue to post as an unregistered user. If you ask for your registered account to be deactivated, you will not be allowed to register another account, and you will only be able to post as an unregistered user in the future.

3. If you are easily offended by insults, crude humor and other explicit content, please do not register an account. The Interstellar Messages board is not intended for individuals of weak mental and emotional constitution.

You may link to an article and post your thoughts about the article or summarize the article in your words, but you may not post any part of the article.
